Talk: Digital trust in medicine in the age of chat GPT

„Only those who build smart things themselves will shape the future and digital culture“

Prof. Dr. Thomas Grechenig

We are proud that our management is regularly invited to present leadership in global information technology. We are very happy to do this in discreet professional circles, because we want managers outside our field to share in what we have been doing for 20 years. To make Europe a leader in the digital world.

Professor Grechenig was invited by the Eder founding family and the management of the prestigious Humanomed Group, which operates one of the largest rehabilitation centres in Europe, to speak about "Digital trust in medicine in the age of chat GPT" at the autumn reception on Thursday. Prof Grechenig also addressed the important and critical issue of European sovereignty in the digital world: "Only those who build smart things themselves will help determine the future and digital culture".

His theses and assessments were not only informative, but also truly inspiring. He pointed out that a top dog like Humanomed and the R&D house RISE have great potential for "Serious Gaming in eHealth", "AI@eHealth" and "the future of HIS", for example in the field of rehabilitation.

Afterwards, the members of the RISE board, Dr Kappel, Dr Bernhart and Prof Grechenig, together with the numerous guests and Humanomed managers, enjoyed an excellent meal at the Pfarrwirt, which provided the perfect opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. The discussions were lively and showed the great interest and need for AI-isation with common sense plus a concrete measure plus an appropriate goal.

It is always gratifying to see concrete thoughts and real perspectives exchanged among opinion leaders, leading to better, more European technology decisions.

Many thanks to Humanomed for inviting and organising this valuable and high quality event!
